Ezra has been growing and changing so quickly, it almost feels like you blink and he has grown a ton. Besides signing up Noah for High School next year, maybe I am being sentimental. He loves to play air soft guns with his brothers. He loves to play outside in the snow, and he loves school. He is a snuggler and a kisser. If someone wants a hug Ezra will be the first in line. He is using his left hand a lot to color and write his name, but still uses right as well sometimes. I think he will be left handed and play sports right handed like his brother Zeke. He usually takes a nap everyday, but sometimes he will stay up and then fall asleep on his favorite chair. He is such a doll to have around. We are so thankful for our sweet wonderful little man. Momma loves you so much buddy.

We went out to the condo to celebrate Nannie's Birthday in Holland. We had a fun night. We were able to play out on the sand and walk in the cold weather. It was fun, very different from summer.

Eli's Huge Fish!!!

Eli went fishing with Uncle Carl. He caught a huge 23" Large Mouth Bass, 6 lbs, 15" around. He was so excited. Daddy is letting him get it mounted. Needless to say it was a keeper.

His hand fit in the mouth of the bass.

It was about the size of a newborn baby.

Ezra and Mommy went to Creekside Growers and had a lot of fun.

We did a corn maze, picked out a pumpkin in a pumpkin patch and took a hayride.

Ezra was too big for the sign, he had to go on his knees.

He loved pulling the sling shot. We had a fun time.

Some Late Summer Postings!

Noah went to MSU Soccer Camp and had a lot of fun. Our Crazy MSU FAN, ZEKE loved going to see the field and meeting some of the players.

You did AWESOME Noah, very proud of you.

As you know we do a lot of boating all summer long, but here are some other things we found ourselves doing. Eli had a lot of fun making water slides for his playmobil. It is very cool. You can see the little guy falling to the next level of the slide, and of course the tunnel.

Ezra started scootering like a madman. He is really good at it. He loves to go down the hill on the street. This day was cute, because his little pants were falling down.

Zeke asked me to take pictures of his muscles, so here they are. He wanted to make sure they would be posted. Look at those guns.

Some day his stomach may not look the same.

We measured Noah the other day and he is over 5'8, almost 5'9. Hard to believe my baby is that BIG. He has passed Mom, by almost two inches.

Kentucky Trip/June 2010

Making butter at the Fort.

At the fort, Ezra loved taking care of baby William in the cabin.

We swam at a community pool and everyone was doing flips off the diving board.

Ezra loved playing in the Cumberland River with his seadoo.

The boys climbed through a cave on our trip to Eagle Falls, that was really cool.

We went to Kentucky in June and had a GREAT time. We went to Mammoth Cave, and then over to Green River Lake, and finally to Cumberland Falls. On the way home we went to Boonesborough State Park. It was a really fun camping trip.

We went with our good friends the Keranens, so much fun.

We had a GREAT Holiday weekend. This is at the end of the Green Lake Parade. Yes Bill shaved the beard a few weeks ago.

Noah drove the four wheeler in the parade. Bill, Zeke, Hannah and myself rode in the trailer.

Ezra, Eli and Grandma and Grandpa rode in the model A, they were the last car in the parade.

Friday we all went to the beach and had some fun.

Hannah's 5th Grade Graduation!

My baby is done with Elementary school.

Hannah had her 5th Grade Graduation on the last day of school. It was quite an event. We had the assembly where each students name was called, with pictures from baby, kindergarten, and then 5th grade were shown on the screen.

Then we had the party day with swimming and lunch, and new class t shirts.

He always goes along to every game and cheers on his siblings. Sometimes we get a little bored and have to play with the flag, and remove our shirt. He is always there to cheer though. Love you little man!

Hannah's 5K Run!

After the Kent county 5k race got canceled for Girls on the Run. Caledonia did their own race at the High School Track which was really cool. Hannah getting ready.

Hannah's DARE Graduation!

Hannah has been learning a lot in her Dare program at school. She had to write an essay. Her essay was chosen in her class to be read in front of everyone at the Dare Graduation. Only three essays were chosen to be read, one from each class. We were so excited for her. She did a GREAT job. She is a very creative writer and a very descriptive reader.

She got the medal for being one of the special essay readers.

Way to go Hannah, we will keep you to your pledge of no drugs.

This past weekend, tubing and soccer!

We went tubing for the first time in 2010. They had a riot. The water is still very cold, hence the wetsuits.

I thought this was so cute of Eli.

Ezra insisted he wanted to go too, he put on his wet suit and went all by himself. He didn't like going too fast, but he will catch on soon enough.

Noah and his good friend wilder lasted the shortest amount of time. They got way too cold.

We also had soccer games this weekend. Four to be exact, I suppose that is better than the eight we had the weekend before. It is cute seeing Noah's team still having fun like little boys, and then looking so grown up in the official team photo.

Hannah's team also had a game. They are typical girls and love to have fun even during games.

She worked hard and played really aggressive.

Noah running track

Noah is running track this spring for 7th grade. He is running the 1 mile and 2 mile. In this race he started out slow and was in fifth place but a lot can happen during a 2 mile race....

He kept his pace and went into 3rd place.

This is the end of the race and he is in 2nd place. He did an awesome job. He started to kick it up at the start of the last lap, which we thought was too soon, but he did awesome. We are so proud of you Noah. He really is having a good time with track and looks forward to next year. This year he is running against 7th and 8th graders, so next year should be even better.

Zeke had a game out in Zeeland yesterday. He played awesome. I love to watch his team, they are so fun. They won 7 to 1. Five boys from the team scored goals.

Since we have three birthdays within a week we do a family party all together. The missing icing is from Ezra.

Ezra was so excited. When he woke up from his nap we had to open presents right away.

He got some movies and some Zhu Zhu pets, and some trucks of course.

Eli, got his Wii game he really wanted.

Hannah got some nice books, and a snorkel set and a new ipod.

We had pizza and cake.

Ezra loved his cake and blowing out his candles.

Then we had to relight the candles for Hannah and Eli.

The next morning I found Ezra digging in the left over cake.

Eli had his first friend party at Craig's Cruiser's. We had 14 first grade boys. WOW, we were tired afterwards.

He had a lot of fun and got some really nice things.

Of course we had a soccer cake.

At the end he spun the birthday wheel, and actually won the Grand Prize, which was really cool. He was really excited.

Zeke turned 9 years old yesterday. He loves having a spring break birthday. We went to Great Wolf Lodge for two nights and came back and had his birthday.

He got a soccer training goal, a camera and a soccer shoot out game.

He also got a huge glider that he and Dad had fun with in the yard. It then got stuck in the tree, but it was fun to watch Daddy jump through the air. Happy Birthday Zeke you are a wonderful boy. We love you and praise God for the gift of you. You are full of energy, adventure and fun. We love your passion and drive to do things well. We hope you have a great Birthday and a GREAT year.

Noah got a new iPod touch, his old one went to Hannah. He also got $ and some cool cards from his siblings.

Mom had t get a picture with her baby, too.

Noah asked for venison chili and cornbread. So Mom made venison chili and beef chili, it was good. We tried to make people guess which one was which. FUN! The blue pan was Beef.

Noah's good friend Wilder came over to help us celebrate. Two 13 year olds, who are 5'6", and 5'10" tall. Happy Birthday to my sweet little baby boy. Our family has certainly entered a new realm with a teenager in the house. We are so proud of the man you are becoming. Noah loves God, loves soccer, playing in the band from church, playing in the band at school, and getting good grades. You are so responsible with your siblings and very helpful around the house. You are setting a GREAT example for the younger ones to follow. We love you Noah, keep up the good work, God will surely bless you beyond what we can all imagine.

We went to Gasparilla Island, Boca Grande for two day trips. It was absolutely beautiful. President Bush 41 was on this island at the same time. Unbelievable amazing homes and beaches. The best part, is the kids could find sharks teeth on the beach.
The water was a little cold, good thing Dad thought to bring our wet suits.
Bill took Noah, Hannah, and Eli to the Aquarium, which was really fun.

Enough said!

We rented a boat to ride on the canals. It was a lot of fun. We wanted to go wakeboarding but where we rented the boat from wouldn't let us do it.

We stopped at different points during the boating trip to take excursions to the beach. It was really fun.
We had a friend that visited us. This friendly little dolphin came really close looking for food. The kids loved watching the dolphin swim so close. Our boat trip was really fun.
We found a new house that we would like to have, it is too bad it is probably out of our price range. It comes complete with a waterfall and everything. So Gorgeous. This was just one of many awesome places that were along the channel.

Turtle Beach!

Mom even got in a picture, now that is amazing.

We loved hanging out at Turtle Beach and collecting shells. We found tons of them.
It is a rare moment to take a photo of Ezra without his pacifier. So we were really excited about this.
He was jumping off the little sand hills and laughing.
We found a little crab and the kids had fun watching it trying to escape five little kids.

Ezra Going Potty!

Ezra went to the potty this week, what a big boy. We have sat on the potty before, but never gone. He sat down this time and said, "Mom it is working", because he was able to go.
We are so proud of ourselves.
He wanted to read his train book, too.

Here is our tree we decorated this year. It was a big beautiful tree, and then it got a little cut up. The kids still had fun decorating it with their own ornaments, that is all that would fit.

We went out into the woods, by GiGi's house and walked through the swampy water. It was really wet, but a beautiful night. Bill had planted trees a few years ago and we wanted to use one of them for our tree.

It was quite an adventure.

Daddy cut down one of the trees and then we dragged it out of the woods.

Here is our beautiful natural tree. I am showing this picture so you can see how huge it is. Daddy did some cutting and it ended up a "little" smaller. Watch for a posting soon, of our decorated tree.

Disney Hollywood Studios

Look at these adorable kids at Hollywood Studios. We had breakfast with some playhouse disney characters. Then we took a ride on the Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. We next went to Star Wars and to the New Toy Story ride which is really cool. What a Great Morning.

School Halloween Parties

Fall Camping at Ludington!

Eli was so cute when we went hiking, with his walking stick and his blankie. I loved it.
Hannah had a soccer game in Ludington this weekend, so we went camping at the state park. We had a ton of fun. Noah stayed with Uncle Carl and Aunt Cathy, because he had a game in Grand Rapids. We spent two nights in the campground. We took hikes in the beach dunes, rode bikes by the river and all over the park. We even went salmon fishing for a little bit. The trees and colors were beautiful.

The kids loved camping, they didn't want to go home.

There was frost on the beach in the mornings. Which was kind of cool. We had the furnace running all weekend and it was very cozy and warm.

Another Great Weekend of Soccer!!!

We had everyone win their soccer games this weekend. Hannah's team came from behind to win, 4-3. She scored the 3rd goal, and had the game winning assist. She did awesome.
She is really aggressive and loves to play, who knew? Even though she is small she does really well.

Zeke's team played on Tuesday against the CATS, we won. He also played on Sunday and did great too. These guys are U-9 and are playing up to U-10, and they are doing great. What a fun team to watch.

Eli's team won their game this weekend too. He scored two goals, they won 6-2. He got a little tired, because we did not have any subs. He did GREAT!!!!
Here is one goal. Go ELI!!! He dribbled down the field and scored.

Noah's team played the CATS team too. They won 1-0. They did GREAT. Noah is the key part of the mid field, just like his dad was. He had to play this team that had 7 guys from his school, they were talking smack all week, but we won.

Eli went fishing the other day and caught a 14 3/4" small mouth bass. He loves to go fishing and did a great job. He reeled it in all by himself. What a GREAT catch!!!!!

Soccer this weekend!!!

Hannah was the captain at her game. She won the game 7-0.

She scored the last goal of the game. We are so proud of our

little soccer player.

Eli also had his first game. He is such a great player.

I tried to take a photo today of all five kids.

Needless to say that is always difficult. We

usually take the picture at the beach, but we

all haven't been at the beach together yet this

summer. Since it is Labor Day weekend soon,

I doubt it will happen. So here is what we have.

We couldn't take a photo by the lake, because of where the

sun was.

Crew Cup Tournament!

This past weekend we had the Crew Cup tournament.

All three kids teams played so we had a total of 10 games.

Noah did an awesome job. It is fun to watch the kids play

on the big fields. His team went 1-2.

Zeke's team played in the finals. They

played awesome. They got second place at

the last few minutes of a back and forth game.

It was very exciting.

Go Zekey man.

Hannah played in her first tournament.

She did AWESOME! We are so proud of her.

She is very aggressive and quick.

Her team, lost all three games, they played teams who were

in higher divisions. But they stuck it out and played hard. They

learned a lot.

her way up to camp with her grandparents. We had lots of

Roger and Donna's Hot Air Balloon ride!

We bought a hot air balloon ride for Donna and Roger for their

retirement. Roger got to hold the balloon while it filled up with

air.

They climbed in. We all went to watch them

off and followed the balloon by car. All nine

grandkids, and parents, too. We ended up losing the chaser

car, because they took off really fast. It was fun though.

They were so excited, even for 6am.

The ride lasted about an hour and they

loved it. They even said, they would go

again.

Hannah's 5k Girl's On The Run Race

Hannah raced in the Girls on the Run program. She had her

5K race. She did awesome. We are so proud of her. She ran

the entire way without stopping to walk.

Hannah does rock, doesn't she? Last year she couldn't race

in the final event because of her broken arm. This year she

did it. They train for ten weeks, and then have their run.

There were 750 girls who ran all from Kent County's different

schools. Hannah ran with her best friend's Carly and Maddie, and

Carly's Dad, who is in the photo too.

This is over half way and she is still smiling. Hannah wore

pink pants so we could find her in the crowd.

At the end with their medals. You girls are Awesome.

Ezra is 2!

Yesterday was Ezra's 2nd Birthday. He had a very special day

He would say "birthday " all day long.

He blew out the candle on his cake. He enjoyed eating it too.

His favorite gift was Handy Manny, toolbox.

Everyone loves our little boy. He is talking all the time

now and is such a sweet little boy. He loves to be outside and

plays with toys. He is growing up so fast. Love you Ezra!

We went one day up to Baltimore, Maryland to see the National

Aquarium. It was a lot of fun. Naomi and Madeline, met us there,

too.

We saw the dolphin show.

We went to a park in the afternoon were Noah and Zeke could

play soccer, and Hannah, Eli, and Ezra could play on the playground.

It was turf outdoors.

Ezra got into the soccer too.

He loves to dribble the ball.

This would have been a great moment, had Ezra

not looked down.

He got hit in the head by a ball. He wasn't too

happy about that. He went to Hannah to be picked up

and we thought it was so funny, because he weighs almost as

much as her.

We went to Washington D. C. for spring break. We stayed

at Aunt Marg and Uncle Paul's house. We had a GREAT TIME!

We all enjoyed the American History Museum.
